| Posted it on the C clan as they surely be interested.
Hello!
Im TSK^NICO^ and i began a one man crusade against moded servers.
More and more since AA3 came out, attention from AA direction, devs, and ppl who oversight the game have let this game get infested with mods. this mods alter gameplay and often hack the HONOR so they are able to appear in the HONOR fileters on the serverlist. thus servers like Yours, become empty and desolated.
Sure thats made me cancel my server.
I made various topics on ACI, AA.com, and battletracker in order to iluminate some minds, get advice and get the ball rolling into the no honored mods bandwagon. With this im hoping to get this ojectives to attack:
1)Contacted AA.com and let them know (as they prbly have no clue) whats the current situation, the infestation of moded servers that bypass HONOR checks in order to appear in HONOR filters in serverlists. as i explain, newcomers go for the candy. SURE they can do it. but not by violation EULA, and the core of the game intent wich is Play it as it is shown. they took the topic for private discution.
So far oversight of these matters have dicreased due to AA3 and i hope to convince some ppl that aa.2.8 is worth it. and some volunteers plan to send information, IP adresses to them so they can look into the violations and block the servers. Since the begining of time, AA direction has had some oversight. even notifying server companies not to allow mods my their customers and have them run. otherwise they loose their "honor" distribution rights. So this comunity moderator on AA.com has sent me pm`s so I or anybody notify him over this type of servers. his name is m_hermann
2)Get Battletracker to stop trackin the servers. back when AA 2 mattered, AAOTRACKER did a good job in having MODED servers un tracked. THEY took the desition to untrack 2.6 due to the mod avalanche (and some other updating reasons). Ive contacted HOMEY and PLURK so they work with us and safety check the mecanisms to REGISTER and TRACK a server. so far anyone not even registered in battletracker.com can register a server to be tracked. that has to change.
3) Its in the WORKS to contact PRAGMATIC so they give us information about WHO do they give HONOR to and contrast it against the database of moded servers we are going to make (so far i have a fair ammount of servers and IPs). So we can pimpoint violators and have them blocked. hopefully some igh ranking person will contact us. but we need ut help!.
So far so good. ive made some threads to spread the word:
http://www.anticheatinc.net/forums/showthread.php?t=75153
Cleaning up AA.2.8
And we can apply preassure here on AA.com v2.8 forums here: http://forum.americasarmy.com/viewforum.php?f=27
So lets gang up against these delincuents and have our GOOD HONEST servers running. even im gonna soon get one.
so, hoping to get from u guys!
Cheers.
